I just wanted to apologize for the weird site issues (lack of buttons, distorted thumbnails, etc.) I’m working to fix them and hope to get the site back to it’s pretty state soon enough.

So here’s the lowdown on what’s gonna happen with Mystery Afoot. Every Wednesday we will be posting a new page of Mystery Afoot. So if you come back every Wednesday you can follow the adventures of Nessie and Bigfoot as they crack their first case. This is in order to give our artist (Max Bare) enough time to do the amazingly detailed art that he does, as well as allow him to do other projects for his gallery Oh No! Doom.
If you can’t wait that long to find out what happens to these adorable cryptids you can buy our premiere issue which contains the first 15 pages of our harrowing origin tale.
So subscribe to our page, or make sure to check back every Wednesday for a new page of Mystery Afoot.
Begin the Journey HERE!
Now is your chance to order our premiere issue of mystery afoot. We’ve set up and online store through big cartel and you can find it here:
You can order our premiere issue, a fun sticker, or any of our three pin up posters. Shipping is standard ground and all our comics come pre-bagged and boarded for your safety. So if you’ve been wanting an issue now is your chance. Any questions direct them here.

So C2E2 has come and done. There was laughter. There was crying. There was a giant pig monster endorsing a book about pirates. A big thank you to everyone who came out to the booth and picked up our premiere issue of Mystery Afoot. A great big hello to you folks that just finished reading the issue and decided to visit our little website:
HELLO!
So let’s hear some highlights already:
• One thing we all learned is that the number one selling item of C2E2 were those darned (I mean damned) Green Lantern Rings.
So in order to make ourselves more appealing Max whipped up some special rings for Bigfoot and Nessie:
Say goodbye to Blackest Night, and say hello to Slightly Sunny Afternoon with a Chance of Snow Flurries.
• I, Zoran, becomes an instant celebrity and appeared in over 70 pictures (Which if you have any please send them to info@mysteryafoot.com) thanks to my Doctor Who costume. The original David Tennant on the left. Me on the right.
That little baby won me third place in a costume contest. And here was my prize.
Which I quickly gave away with a purchase of Mystery Afoot. ECONOMICS!
• This was Dave Schneider’s first convention and here was his reaction:
Oh and he’s holding the adorable Baby Bigfoot that Lana Crooks made for us. She’s amazing you should check out her upcoming shows at OH NO DOOM!
• Max’s girlfriend Tiffany made off like a bandit:
Thanks again to Tiffany for providing us with Parmesan Rosemary Biscuits and Delectable muffins.
And that wraps up our C2E2 experience. Thanks again to Matt Sardo and The Comic Vault for giving us a space at their booth. Thanks to everyone that came out. Big thanks to those that bought a copy of the comic. Thanks to all the artists that contributed art to the book: Joanna Davidovich, Logan Petree, Alex Willan, Dan Atherton, Joey Potts, and Brian Walline. A thank you to comixpress.com for upgrading our shipping so we actually had a book to sell. And just thank goodness we have now officially begun unleashing the tale of Bigfoot and Nessie upon the world.
Stay tuned as I work on uploading some of the new comic for you all to view online.
